Canine Country Club of the South

I have had a fantastic experience with Canine Country Club of the South & Karisha in particular. I rescued a pit bull mix ("Sweet Pea") in October of 2020, and she was about 18 months at the time. She clearly had some experiences before I got her that made her anxious and unreliable. We worked really hard together and made some solid improvements on our own. She got to a point where she was great with other dogs and people who had dogs with them, but she was nervous of anyone without a dog and VERY protective/territorial around my apartment, even with people she knew. I adore my dog, and I was really nervous that her ongoing issues might get her into serious trouble. That's when we enlisted Karisha and CCC of the South. I took SP to CCC of the South for an evaluation to assess and create an initial game plan. I ended up leaving SP for 3 weeks of boot camp training. MAN DID I MISS MY GIRL! But Karisha was adamant about not sending Sweet Pea home until she had a foundation that I could rely on and continue to work on at home. Sweet Pea came home a new dog! Seriously. Everyone we know sees the difference. She has confidence that wasn't there before and a foundation of commands that we have continued to work on. She's SO GOOD! And she's not running the show anymore, I AM. No she isn't perfect. But when anything comes up that needs work, I know I can contact Karisha and she will help me troubleshoot the problem. I'm not worried about my dog anymore. I trust her. And I know there are no problem behaviors that we can't overcome... which to me is PRICELESS. Lonnnggg story short... if your pup behaving in ways that are too much for you to handle on your own, Karisha can help. 100%. P.S. Karisha took those photos of Sweet Pea while she was at CCC of the South for boot camp. Clearly she was having a great time :)

It has been almost 8 months since we took our doberman, Kraig to Karisha to get help. He is a 90lb doberman who began having some pretty scary issues with food aggression and dominance. We honestly did not think there was hope for us or him, which was heart breaking cause he is a wonderful dog aside from those two issues. WELL, 8 months later he is a fully reformed dog. He went from having an attitude anytime you asked him to do anything to so eager and happy to do what he is told because of Karisha's positively reinforced training. He eats his food with no problem now and we (owners) are now trained to better watch his ques for rest, sleep, etc. We knew he was a working dog, but we did not realize that a lot of his issues stemmed from his high-drive working anxiety causing him to never be able to rest. Karisha brought crate training back into his life and he has been the best boy ever since. Karisha is a household name now because of the miracle she worked on Kraig (and on us too). Kraig and Karisha did the work and we took everything Karisha said and kept training him back home. The training does not stop when your dog leaves, it is your responsibility to make sure it sticks - which it has!!! We are so thankful to be members of Canine Country Club of the South and to have our happy dog back!!! Thank you Karisha!!!!!

"It's like I have a brand new dog!". That was my first thought after I picked Herschel up from Karisha's Boot Camp training. She took a Labradoodle puppy (the breed is kinda crazy when young) and turned him into a well behaved, more fun to play with family member. Her unique paddle boarding training for confidence and distractions is both innovative and rewarding for the dog in so many ways. It's also a comfort to know if I go out of town that Karisha and her team are ready and available and also continue with more training! Love, love, LOVE CCCOS!
