Canine Craze Performance Center

Have been going there for over a year. My dog never learned anything new except when she was with the trainer Ryan. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders when it comes to training. The rest of them are dog trainers in training it seems like. Instead of bringing up issues that my dog began to have, they just learned to deal with the problem vs correcting the behavior. This happened for 8 months that my dog began to get an attitude. Well the first time we find out about it is when they tell us she is being dropped from the program. They say she has an attitude problem and we need to pay for private sessions which cost more. They were also very secretive about how much time our dog was in the kennel. They would tell us she did great after this afternoon. Come to find out my dog was being left in the Kennel for over half the day and sometimes more. My dogs behavior was also different after she stopped working with Ryan. She didn't seem like she wanted to go to Canine Craze and would always look sad when leaving. When my girlfriend and I were told that we were being dropped and needed to pay for private lessons. I contacted Canine Craze and they informed me they didn't know the trainers were not correcting the problems that dogs had. They said they were going to ask the owner to work with us on a deal since they have been making our dogs problems worse instead of better. It's now 2 weeks later and no one has contacted us. We have also seen a great improvement in our dogs behavior since she left.

Over the last 4 months, we have taken our alaskan malamute puppy here for puppy gym class, puppy adolescents class, and will be starting obedience 1 in a couple weeks. The classes are great! All positive reinforcement with clicker training. We learn new things every time and our puppy has fun too. Michelle is a great instructor and very knowledgeable on the current happenings with dog training! We have also had some one-on-one training sessions with Clint to treat our pup's separation anxiety and we wouldn't think to go anywhere else in the future!
