Canine Elite Obedience

I want to start this off by saying I had the highest hopes sending my dog Moose to Dawn. Even after she didn’t call or show up for our first meeting, canceled within an hour of our scheduled meetings for the next two times and then finally showed up. When she came for the evaluation she seemed very knowledgeable and I felt comfort in knowing she was going to help my Moose get back to normal after experiencing some traumatic events including the loss of our cat. Upon dropping Moose off Dawn promised we would receive multiple updates and pictures and by the end of training my reactive dog would be able to go on walks no problem. Even with the stroller! Fast forward to a month of barely any contact (i got 4 updates while he was there for a month and that was at my request) then pick up dates being pushed, communication being absolutely impossible, and promises of Dawn coming to work with Moose afterwards.. i still have an incredibly reactive dog that HALF listens to the commands he was given only taught (place, sit and stay). We were told we would be able to recall him and he would just turn and come back!! Not accurate at all, he is still very reactive and distracted. Walks are still impossible, he is over excited any time he sees a leash making it difficult to harness him and take him anywhere because his energy is too high. We we’re promised so much with this board and train which was incredibly expensive and we have a baby on the way which made the stakes much higher in our case only to be extremely disappointed.. I’m telling our experience in hopes of saving another family time and effort. We are likely going to have to put him in another board and train, and spend another $5000.
