Sierra helped us train several foster dogs to prepare them for adoption. She successfully helped us overcome multiple behaviors ranging from average, stubborn, and anxious personalities. The dogs respond very well to her. The environment is calm and clean. She is patient with owners to explain instructions as to how to maintain and continue training once the trainee returns home. She is always available for questions and sends regular updates during training. I have also boarded my personal dog and fosters with Sierra. They were well cared for, and I received regular updates/prompt responses to my inquiries. She has also done basic grooming services for us. Your best friend will be in excellent hands throughout training, and you will be very pleased with the training results.

Working with Canine Karma has been fantastic. I have a 2yo Blue Lacy that has been difficult to work with on my own. Sessions with Sierra have boosted my confidence and has created the best trained dog I’ve ever owned. Sierra’s methods and training philosophies make sense, are easy to follow, and have increased the bond that I have with my dog. I suggest her for all behavior issues – small or large.

We have two 6-month-old lab puppies. While super lovable, they are CRAZY and wild boys. Coming from the same litter, not only were we working with high energy, puppy wildness but we also noticed signs of littermate syndrome. They were having a hard time focusing on us or anything else. Basic commands were becoming impossible to teach as they looked at each other to decide what they would or wouldn't learn or do. All they really ever wanted to do was nibble on each other all day, every day. We contacted Sierra to help the boys learn that they don't have to be together all the time, that they are smart and give them an opportunity to learn and thrive independently. We did the 45-day board and train and are so happy with the results. Both have learned the basic skills/commands, as well as are able to function independently. They are MUCH better around other animals as well as learning to be OK with kids. Throughout the whole process Sierra was in contact with us daily, sending pictures and/or videos as well as updates on their progress. Since they've been home, she is always available for any questions or tips needed as we work on transitioning them back to life with us, at home. I'm very thankful the boys were with her and would recommend her services to anyone who is looking for a professional trainer who focuses on relationship-based training.

I have a 2 year old rescue dog named Tater. He is a good-natured but would not listen and had separation anxiety issues. Would constantly bark at other dogs and bark when I went to work. He would also jump up on people and was constantly caught on the furniture. The biggest concern i had is how Tater would act around the grandchildren. I could not trust him. I signed him up for the 45-day training with Sierra. Sierra was totally up front with me and honest with no B.S. I was totally amazed at how quickly she made progress with him. She sent me texts, pictures, and videos with updates almost daily. At the end of the 45 days, I had a completely new dog, and I am so happy with him. Sierra also wants to do follow-up and refresher training. I feel it was definitely money well spent. Anyone looking for a professional trainer should consider her first.
