Canine Movement Lab

Leah kept our sweet Hazel for nine nights at the end of July and beginning of August. Hazel is a little leary of new places and people but she took right to Leah and her crew! I received text messages and videos every day that we were away. I almost always bring my girl with me on trips so this was my first time boarding Hazel. She was in great hands and loved her time with Leah!! I would highly recommend her and I would use her again without hesitation!

I had been searching online for someone to help with my dog's reactivity for over a year. I had a hunch that more behavioral training wasn't going to help my dog and it was going to cost quite a bit to try something I didn't think would help, SERENDIPITOUSLY I stumbled upon Canine Movement Lab's website and loved everything I read!!! I decided to set up a behavioral assessment with Leah. Best investment I've ever made. Leah came out to our home and talked with us about our struggles with our dog and then we went outside and observed our dog and talked about his body language as he engaged in different ways (hand feeding, walking, playing with toys, etc). Leah explained what was likely happening for him to cause his reactivity and then provided us with TONS of information and resources. My husband and I can now walk our dog muzzle-free and he is soooo much more calm and less reactive. He trusts us more and we feel more confident in caring for him when he does get distressed. Leah has been a constant support and help. She is prompt with communication and provides so much through her online community. You can tell she truly loves dogs and the humans that want the best for their doggos. We went on a week and a half vacation at the beginning of the month and Leah was kind enough to keep our dog Remi. Remi is a four year old border collie mix with high anxiety and energy. Leah made the transition to staying with her smooth for us and for Remi. She kept Remi on a schedule that was beneficial for her anxiety, and gave her plenty of outdoor and pool time! Leah also provided enrichment activities while we were away! Our favorite part was that she provided video and photo updates on a daily basis, and always kept us in the loop on how our dog was adjusting. We were having some difficulty with delays at the airport in trying to get home, and the continued communication with Leah made everything as a pet owner seamless. Remi did not want to leave when we got there to pick her up, and she is always excited when we go to drop her off for daycare! Leah is wonderful with the work she does and the extensive knowledge she has as a trainer. We will continue to utilize the training, daycare, and overnight boarding that Leah offers!

I found Leah online several months ago, when I needed to find an alternative to boarding my then 5 Great Danes. My two oldest just couldn't withstand the -hub-bub of being around so many other dogs, away from home, the way they used to. Finding someone even willing to meet 5 large dogs had been a challenge, much less finding someone who instills a feeling of confidence that my beloved girls would be looked after attentively and lovingly. Leah has been a terrific resource for me, and my girls have done extremely well in her care. It is such a great relief to me to know that my girls are under Leah's supervision when I'm out of town for my monthly business travel, which makes that monthly travel all the more productive/bearable. Without her help, me (and my girls) would be much more stressed during these trips. Thank you Leah!
