We have two Border Collies, the older boy took Venomous Snake Avoidance Class at another company. We later bought the second pup and we found Canine Moxy's snake class. A few months after the pup's training, he came into contact with our empty snake bucket that had previously only held nonvenomous snakes and he went ballistic! He scrambled too get away, but not without trying to take my husband with him. He positioned himself between the snake bucket and Greg and tried to push and pull him away from the snake. The Canine Moxy training worked extremely well. After that, we found a Venomous cottonmouth. While that snake was still in the bucket full of holes so the snake could be seen and smelled, our older dog walked up, sniffed the bucket, and walked off. Obviously his training (at the other company) didn't take, so we knew we needed to get him to Canine Moxy, too. Canine Moxy is the real deal!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently took my dog Alley through Kris’s Venomous Snake Avoidance class, and honestly, it exceeded every expectation I had. Living in Texas, venomous snakes are just part of the environment, and for me, it created a real hesitation when it came to getting out on the trails with Alley. That fear was limiting something we both love to do. This class completely changed that. Kris and his team created an incredibly realistic training experience using live snakes and professional herpetologists, which made the learning both practical and eye-opening. What stood out most wasn’t just the training itself, but the results. By the end of the session, Alley had a clear understanding to avoid rattlesnakes, copperheads, and water moccasins entirely. Not only that, Kris showed me how she will actually alert me if there’s a snake ahead, which adds an entirely new level of safety for both of us. That was the moment everything clicked. I went from being cautious and hesitant to feeling completely confident taking her out on the trails again. Now I can let her run, explore, and do what she loves, without carrying that same fear of the unknown. Kris, thank you. This wasn’t just training for Alley, it gave me peace of mind as an owner. If you live in Texas and spend any time outdoors with your dog, this is not just a class… it’s something I would strongly recommend.

This is the first time I have done any training for my dog, Oreo. Though this was only the first session, Kris was able to provide me with so much information and details about dog behavior that I never thought I needed to know. He was also very patient with Oreo. I will definitely be scheduling more sessions with him!
