Canine Obedience Training at Hunt Club

I found Dory Hofman after searching multiple dog trainer websites and reading raving reviews. I was looking for practical, effective and POSITIVE training techniques and I hit the Jackpot. We did a 2 hour private session for our new puppy and it was incredibly helpful. Dory was well prepared with all sorts of training supplies, ideas, advice, plans, techniques, and could clearly demonstrate them working with my dog. You can read books, and watch social media videos for advice - but not all of it actually is current science, tried and tested dog after dog, with multiple different situations, and different people and dog personalities. But having Dory in person to watch my dog, and see ( and correct ) how i was actually doing the commands, walking, holding the leash, ect made a huge difference. I would not hesitate to get a family session - and see the big improvements that can be made when everyone is understanding, and on the same page! Highly recommend Dory as trainer.

Dory is AMAZING!! Before working with Dory, our 2 year old Cane Corso would lunge, pull and bark every time we tried to walk him. He was very hard to control. Because of Dory's training, our Corso has been transformed into a well-trained dog who is well behaved when we walk. We can now take him to the Boardwalk and to places that have outdoor dog areas. We have people tell us often how well behaved he is. We are so fortunate to have found Dory. We recommend her to everyone we know!
