DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE FOR TRAINING. First off, I am not a disgruntled ex-customer. I am a certified dog trainer and behavior specialist that has had to work with several dogs on severe behavioral issues they developed as a result of attending this facility. If you want to ignore, go ahead. But please read my red flags and RUN if they recommend this to you and your dog. First red flag: believes in “dominance theory,” the idea that intimidating and inflicting pain on your dog is the best way, and that you need to show you’re the “alpha.” This shows me this facility has little to no practical education in dog training and are very likely not certified trainers. This “alpha mentality” has long been disproven by science. Next red flag: recommended a 10-week old puppy to be on a PRONG COLLAR for leash pulling. I was able to train this dog with positive reinforcement and classical Pavlovian conditioning and he now walks perfectly on a FLAT COLLAR. This tells me this training facility is LAZY, doesn’t know how to actually train dogs, and just wants an easy quick solution to behaviors. Biggest red flag: recommended if the dog shows any aggressive behavior, to “alpha roll” them, pin them on their back, and dominate them until they submit. This will DAMAGE YOUR RELATIONSHIP with your dog so bad. And only make the behavior worse. You can’t just punish a dog over and over and expect the behavior to stop. You have to show them the behavior you WANT and reward them for that. There is a REASON this place is so cheap. It’s because other people see the writing on the wall and they struggle to keep business. Therefore, they have to price dirt cheap in order to get business. Unless you want to RUIN your animal, do not take them here.

Calm and patient instructors who give you practical and proven advice in turning your crazy puppy into a dog who listens and obeys. Huge kudos to the instructors who keep their cool when the humans are stupid. (The humans who don't read the pre-class instructions and neglect to bring the supplies necessary for success. Or don't listen to the instructions being given.) These ladies know their craft and are great at sharing their talents with the dog-loving community. Sign your puppy up today!!! You won't regret it!
