Canine Perspective Dog Training: Lincoln Park Office

I can’t sing enough praise for Jesse and his team. I wish I had found them sooner. I started taking my dog, Bailey, to Canine Perspective in March when the shut down started. I am a healthcare worker with long hours. My previous dog daycare center reduced their hours and did not offer pick-up and drop off. Jesse was very accommodating to my schedule and has very reasonable pick up fee. Maria was wonderful with helping my schedule Bailey and accommodating last minute changes in my work schedule. It took so much stress off me knowing Bailey was being well cared for during my shifts. I also noticed a huge change in Bailey within his first week of daycare at Canine Perspective. Bailey is a high energy dog and sometimes gets over-stimulated in chaotic environments. He really thrived in the structured program Jesse provides, and he seemed much more tired and happy after coming home than he did at his prior daycare place. I ended up signing Bailey up for the daycare and train program and it is worth EVERY PENNY. I am just amazed how well Bailey listens now. I never thought I would have a dog that behaves off leash. We sadly had to move last month for my job, and one of the hardest things to leave was Jesse and his team. When we come back to visit friends and family Chicago I will be bringing Bailey so he can spend sometime at CP again and keep working on his skills. Can’t recommend this place more. Bailey and I miss you Canine Perspective!!

I have had both my dogs training by Jesse and his crew. My first is a 2 year old pit bull terrier that had issues pulling while walking and jumping on people. The 2nd was our 6 month old husky mix that went through the 2 week board and training. I could not be happier with the results that we got. Everything that we had issues with was addressed and its like having 2 completely different dogs now. Jesse and all of his staff were completely professional, kind, and well versed in dog handling. I honestly don't know what has taken us so long to give Jesse a review! Jesse has been working with our dog since before we rescued her, more than 5 years! Our dog has a high prey drive which made it very hard for her to be adopted out. Without Jesse's help I don't even know if we would have found her and been able to handle her. Jesse's has helped and support us on keeping our home structured for our girl to make her and our life's as happy as possible. He is always willing to help us no matter what and stands by his training. With his help our dog, who is dog reactive has had dog friends and is able to walk on a leash around other dogs in public areas. We love love love him and so does our Frankie! Anytime she sees him, she wiggles and wants so bad to go say hi, BUT because of Jesse's training she won't! She will remain in heel until I give her the release. You can tell he truly loves her and all of his clients as well. We have recommended him to my best friend as well as many others who have all had nothing but amazing feel back as well. You can not go wrong with Jesse! Words can express how thankful we are for him!

I bring my dog here about 3 times a week usually while I am at work, and I have nothing but great things to say about them. They are 100 times better than similarly priced doggy daycares yet they actually know what they are doing. My dog hates going to a daycare close to my house that we had used before after going to Canine. The difference in his demeanor is very clear, this is the place to take your dog!
