Canine Perspective Dog Training: Lincoln Park Office

I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Jesse and Canine Perspective. Moving to Chicago took a toll on my dog Britta, she became extremely reactive while on her leash, first it was to dogs and then to nearly everything. I tried EVERYTHING, multiple trainers and went to a dog behaviorist. I finally came across Jesse's page and was so impressed that I contacted him immediately and I am so happy I did. Within the first couple sessions I noticed Britta starting to transform and gain more respect for me as the leader. We are a year out of our training program and I can honestly say I have a completely different dog, sure she has her days but I could not be happier with her behavior overall and it is all thanks to Jesse. I am so excited for his facility to open up, I will definitely be using his facility moving forward for boarding and daycare.

We hired Jesse to work with our 8 year old dog, Olive. With our first baby on the way we were concerned that Olive might not react well when the baby came home, as she has gotten over excited with kids in the past and can't control her excitement. Hiring Jesse was the best decision we could have made. Jesse is thoughtful, patient, and considerate. His knowledge of dog behavior is impressive and helped us become confident having our dog near our new baby. Thank you Jesse!

I rescued a 2 year old not so perfect Doberman.... and she was a little bit overwhelming trying to train her on my own.... I actually found Jesse at a dog training class... He was a student in the class….not the teacher... I set up an appointment and he came over to my house with his suit of armor on and tried to get into my house with a vicious Doberman barking and aggressively attacking the door… (Jesse lived ) ... ask him about princess when you met him ... so after we discussed the method of training he recommended and the homework I needed to do ... we also discussed my expectations of what kind of dog I wanted when we where done ... I signed up for it… Once a week for 12 weeks seemed like a long time but it wasn’t… it’s been a year now and the bound between my dog and I grows everyday ... people commend me on a well trained calm dog ... off leash park playing ... without her running after everything else besides her ball ... Jesse taught me how to train and work with my dog and also how to enjoy having a trained dog ... My friends told me a year ago to give that dog back to the dobe rescue and get a different one because she was out of control .. aggressive and vicious ... I didn’t and with jesses help ... she’s the best dog I ever had .... thanks Jesse
