Canine Perspective: Structured Daycare, Boarding & Training

We LOVE Canine Perspective! It's so close to our apartment and we truly trust them to take care of our little maniac Izzo. We completed the board and train program and we noticed a big difference with Izzo. He was calmer, not as jumpy and better in the crate. Enrique and Amanda sat down with us for 45 minutes to follow up about what they worked on with Izzo and were so helpful with answering all of our questions. We also use daycare and boarding quite frequently and he always gets so excited to go! We love Elizabeth, she has been extremely helpful with Izzo’s diet. We had trouble with gas and loose stools and she recommended a brand of food that was affordable with great ingredients. She transitioned him from his old food to his new food for us and we’ve seen such an improvement. She is always really good about responding via email with any questions and concerns I have. And I love that we can purchase food, treats and Izzo’s goats milk from their website and pick it up! We are so grateful for their awesome team. Thank you at Canine Perspective!

I hired Jesse in 2016 to help train me to better handle my, at the time, 2.5 y/o female rescue AmStaff. Shortly before contacting him I had endured a bite and knew that I was ill-equipped as a first time dog owner to correct the unacceptable behavior of this sweet but bratty pup. Jesse was so helpful every step of the way. I felt like I had a peer that was actually there to guide me and help me learn, no judgement or harsh tactics, just firm and fair. From the moment Jesse stepped foot in my home my dog's behavior shaped up real quick!! Jesse and I did nine weeks of obedience and light behavioral training such as resource guarding. I learned how to use the Dogtra dog collar, which saved my dog's life, not a joke!! I don't even want to think about some of the unfortunate circumstances that could have come about with my previously untrained pup and living in a big city full of dogs and people. Needless to say it was worth every penny. I got the most out of it, as it usually is, however my dog was never the same after those nine weeks, in the best way possible. It is a lifelong practice, no doubt about it. But Jesse truly instills the tools, resources, knowledge that will help you and your pal live a better, happier, and safer life. I could not be more thankful for him and his crew <3

My dog Nala was incredibly scared and reactive to all animals when I rescued her from the shelter. Taking her for walks or going anywhere in public was always difficult, scary and stressful. We tried treat based and positive reinforcement training with two other companies but nothing worked. With Jesse’s training Nala’s life and my life have become so much more peaceful. She is more confident and less scared on walks and in public. She no longer lunges at other dogs or pulls me around on the leash. Grateful to have this training under my belt.
