Updating my previous review: After many years of working with Meredith both in Atlanta and now virtually with several dogs along the way, I must again highly recommend her and the staff at Canine PhD for training. Each dog has its own temperament and needs and Meredith has always connected with us and nailed the appropriate training and guidance for success. My current Vizsla pup, Ace, and I are living our best lives because we started with a solid foundation of training with Meredith.

Meredith is simply the best. We have four dogs and a cat. We used to think that fights came out of nowhere, but she has helped us learn their language. Now, I feel so much more equipped to handle each particular situation we may come across with each stage of their lives. I am so glad that we went specifically with a behaviorist and not just a trainer. The investment gives us so much more insight on what is going on within their minds, and it helps us trust ourselves as pet owners. Probably the best investment we have ever made. It’s hard to get all the animals in one picture, but luckily I am an expert at photoshop.

Meredith is the best!! If your dog has behavioral challenges I can't recommend Meredith enough and the folks at Canine Ph.D. enough for a positive re-enforcement training approach. We began working with her a few months ago to help my senior dog feel more comfortable around my boyfriend. My dog has a long history of fear-based anxiety and aggression around people, especially men. I had pretty much given up hope that he could be re-habilitated, and had gotten used to keeping him separated from everyone. But with Meredith's guidance and a slow and steady approach (and some medication adjustments), my dog let my boyfriend pet him for the first time yesterday! This is a huge win for us! Meredith helped us learn how to "read" my dog better, to be able to identify and interpret the cues he gives for when he is feeling uncomfortable. We also learned how to keep everyone safe as we work towards closer and more sustained interaction, and how to make it a positive experience for all.
