FirstBarkWe had a great experience with our private training sessions with Carrie!! She was able to help us with a few things we were struggling with with our dog Joey. He is listening much better in general and especially when off leash!!! Joey loved going there, and we willbe back if we need any refreshers!!!!

The last class my dogs leash was taken from my hands and he was drug up a ramp after he balked despite my protests (he was wearing a pronged collar). This was a supposed to be a puppy class - he is 5-6 months old. The other trainer was doing damage control after. I did not feel respected and felt talked down to on more than one occasion. Note: I was the only single woman in the class (the others were men or couples). I have had many dogs and I am an Engineer with a masters degree (not that it matters) and I am generally pretty easy going - everyone deserves to be respected. The trainers seem to be very knowledgeable but I don't agree with using that kind of force on a puppy. I prefer encouragement which was generally used more previously. He is a pet, not a military, working or show dog.
Carrie and Howard have been great through our 6 week puppy class! I feel like they have given us the tools to help train our puppy. Not only have we seen it work with our puppy, but also the other puppies in class with us. I appreciate that they have their own tips for training, but also stand on the same ground. I would highly recommend them!
Easy to set up classes and payments. The owner Marc, is very helpful and understanding your needs. Howard is great working with our puppy. Great lessons with him and my wife, very positive feedback to all the staff. Thank you so much for your help, kindness, and support.
