Canine Revolution Dog Training

We sent our dog to do a board and train with Chad and he truly changed our lives for the better! Our dog, Matilda, would run away if a leaf moved too fast, she lacked confidence and was scared of everything. Now she takes three 40 minute walks a day and truly gets to enjoy being a dog in an active family! Chad and his team communicate consistently throughout training and after the fact for check ins and follow ups. I can’t recommend Canine Revolution enough!

We adopted a shelter dog who may never have lived in a family home. Kind of a wild child. We contacted Canine Revolution and they picked him up. Seven weeks later, Jacy has helped him transform into a well-trained, calm, smart, alert, loving dog. She helps us develop our confidence taking him places and gives great suggestions to help us provide him with a loving, calm home environment. Thank you!

We are fairly new to the Low Country and felt it was time to get our 5-year-old mixed lab (Buttercup) some training. She has a lot of anxiety, was difficult to take on walks, she had attacked other dogs, chased runners, and gone after the mailman when she was a pup. In other words, she was out of control. We had called several other trainers in the area but Canine Revolution was the only one to spend some time with us on the phone to tell us about their program. I was a little skeptical about all the 5 star reviews. By far the hardest part of the process is handing her over to our wonderful trainer. Chris. We started with the 4 week program and decided to go for the 6 week program to help reinforce the training. We got updates and videos every 3-4 days and Chris always kept us in the loop. We even got to meet up with him and Buttercup for training at their location and at Home Depot. I now understand why there are 5 stars reviews across the board. This organization is premier dog trainers in the Southeast or perhaps nationally. Buttercup came home with the same love she gave us all the time but with a wonderful set of skills to help her cope with her anxiety and allow us to expand her world by taking her out to new places where there are other people and pets. Probably the most important aspect of this experience is the training and support we have gotten from Chris and the lifelong support to help us over any issues. We continue the training regime at home, adding in the handling of what happens when the doorbell rings as well as interaction with other pets. Buttercup will always have anxiety around other dogs, but Chris is helping us to show her how to tolerate that and it is working. She is an absolute joy to take on walks now. We can stop with her in the neighborhood and talk to neighbors without her going crazy or being embarrassed by her barking and growling. We can have her walk by other pets and let her know it is OK. We are using the boarding option when we take trips now. This allows Buttercup to revisit her training with Chris and the whole staff, and we know she is in superior hands while we are away. Canine Revolution is 5 STAR all the way!

AMAZING! It’s hard to write a review that is worthy of the services they provided for our family….but I’ll try! We held off for quite some time because we thought it was going to be too expensive for us. We knew we only wanted to work with them (bc of all the other 5 star reviews)! So, we took the plunge, budgeted for it and prayed for the best. Believe me - it was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. Our golden Rosie came back a new dog, but in the best way possible. Calm, confident, secure, no longer resource guarding and I can actually walk her like a normal person! We can enjoy her now without stressing about how she’ll behave or if she’ll knock someone over when they come to the door. We feel so much more at ease knowing we now have the skills to handle her “tough behavior” (really they trained and educated us). From start to finish the team was communicative, knowledgeable, timely and always available (they have an on-call phone for emergencies). Every staff there is friendly. Not one bad apple!! During a walk with Rosie, I had neighbors commenting on how well trained she is! Be prepared to put in the work when they come home, but honestly why wouldn’t you knowing it’s an investment for a lifetime of love and healthy connection with your dog? Did we sacrifice in the short-term financially? Yes. Would I do it again knowing what I know now. 100% yes!
