Canine Sports Zone

I have wanted to come here for months and finally decided to rent a space. The ring options are confusing if you haven’t attended for classes already or aren’t a professional trainer. They don’t answer the phone when you call, so if you have questions about their services you have to have the conversation over email. Make sure to read the emails thoroughly. I didn’t see there was a fee if your dog has an accident. Even after walking him thoroughly before, my 5mo old puppy still had an accident. So I just paid $50 to use this space for 30 minutes and deeply regretting it.

Taking classes and competing at Canine Sports Zone has been such an wonderful experience, and it’s become a place our whole family of dogs genuinely looks forward to. Our two older dogs came in with some previous agility experience, and the instructors immediately met them where they were and helped them continue to grow with thoughtful challenges and fine‑tuning. At the same time, our young dog—who is just starting out in agility and learning flyball—has been supported with so much patience, encouragement, and clear instruction. It’s rare to find a team that can work so seamlessly with dogs at every stage, from seasoned competitors to enthusiastic beginners, but they do it effortlessly. The instructors are incredibly skilled, but what really sets them apart is how friendly, approachable, and genuinely invested they are in each dog’s progress. They take the time to understand every dog’s personality and learning style, and they make each class feel positive, productive, and fun. Their events and trials are equally impressive. Everything is well run, organized, and welcoming—truly some of the friendliest trial environments we’ve been part of. There’s plenty of space for crating, which is something you don’t always see, and it makes such a difference in keeping dogs comfortable and handlers relaxed. On top of already having such experienced and accomplished trainers on staff, they also bring in expert instructors and judges, which elevates the experience and gives both new and experienced teams the chance to learn from the best of the best. We’re so grateful for the community they’ve built and the care they put into every class and event. It’s a place where dogs of all levels can thrive, and we couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Culture of surveillance and an “in-crowd”. I concur with other reviews that the facility feels unfriendly and generally has an anxious vibe about it. Spent about $1K total to train our two dogs and then were told our dog could no longer participate in agility over email. After a minor incident of physical contact between one of our previous instructor’s dogs and our dog while walking down one of the narrow hallways, we received an email stating they withdrew our dog from the beginning handling class.
