Hands down the best instructors in the county for training with your dog. They are highly skilled trainers with hundreds of years of combined experience. Whether or not you are looking for basic obedience, socialization, competition obedience, or conformation, this is the best place. They also have the cleanest, nicest facility in the county as well.

I find it interesting that the 2 reviews that are 1 star have essentially the same story line but are (supposedly) from two different people. I don't know the owner and haven't had any regular classes there, but I felt the other reviews are suspect and wanted to share my experience.

Great place to have your puppy/ dog trained. They offer a variety of classes. I took a couple of classes to have my 15 month old puppy socialized. I found the trainers well informed on the latest training techniques. I also found the trainers used positive reinforcement while training dogs. The trainers kept the dogs, as well as the owners safe during the class time. They answered group questions and individual questions after class. I felt very comfortable during my time there. The facility was clean and well maintained. As stated before great place to have your puppy or dog trained.

I checked this place out prior to signing up for Canine star beginning obedience, but it turned out to be the worst dog training experience ever. The trainers assistant spent most of the second class insulting my dog and the trainer made rude comments after I couldn't even hear what she asked me to do due to the noise in the room. After getting home from each class I noticed my allergies were extremely aggravated and required immediately washing my clothing and showering. The facility appears clean at first glance but there is dog hair and dander all over the floor. After voicing my concern with Mary Hartney- after only going to the two classes-she didn't even offer an apology or any refund. I wouldn't have bothered to take the time to write a review if Mary would have offered a sincere apology but she was actually rude. Given the number of alternatives on the space coast we look forward to going somewhere else and I would suggest anyone who expects respect and care to their animal to do the same.
