Canine Training Services

After having English Mastiffs for years, I decided to get a Neapolitan Mastiff puppy, assuming they would have similar temperaments and be just as easy to train. I quickly learned the Neo breed is stubborn and would need a different training approach. I tried group puppy classes, and although Luther was a little angel in class, he was a terror in the home, bullying his older sister. I reached out to Elliott, and he put my mind at ease after meeting Luther and outlining the training process for this particular breed. Elliott not only ‘speaks Luther,’ but also helped him become the friendliest and most emotional dog (in the best way). Elliott helped me understand Luther’s language, and I have become much better at being able to understand all my mastiffs’ needs. I am able to take him to parks, farmers markets, and let the neighborhood kids love on him, not needing to worry about his reactions. Not only does Elliott provide training sessions, but he also takes Luther for daycare and excursions, which has been wonderful for his development. If you are in need of a trainer who is familiar with big dogs, I highly recommend him for any training needs.

Saving Puppies Lives. When I first got to know Elliott, I would shadow him on his sessions, learning what it means to be a dog trainer. I've had 2 pit bulls and 1 German Sheppard in my life. I was walking in thinking I knew it all and was amazed. We went to a house where the 2 dogs had aggression towards each other, so I needed to sit back and relax as these dogs do like humans. 1 dog was an Irish wolf hound, and the other was a Mastiff pitbull. Please look them up. These dogs are huge. Shortly into the session, the dogs attacked each other. Elliott and the owners jumped into action. All humans were injured. While Elliott was bleeding and had fat coming out of his arm, he still went back over to the dogs and finished the session in a positive matter, building rapport. Since then, I've seen many, many sessions, with different types of scenarios and doggies. There is one thing that stays in my mind. If a man would put his life into danger in order to make sure the dogs are safe. To check in with the dogs while injured.
