Life changing for Biscuit!!! The training program helped this shelter dog develop skills that allowed her to be adopted into a loving, forever home. Kaylee not only instilled the daily skills necessary to be a great companion for humans, but she also formed the foundation for Biscuit to bond with her new four-legged sisters. My partner and I have a 14 month old female brown lab (field line) and needed support in her training. I looked at what feels like every board and train in Michigan to ensure we chose the right spot, and are so glad we chose Canine Unifursity. First, I love that this is a HOME based program (that has a full facility as well). I would never feel comfortable sending my already over-excited dog to a kennel facility, and I had such peace of mind knowing she'd be comfortable at home with Kaylee. Second, Kaylee was SO responsive when I was asking my laundry list of questions to ensure it was the right fit. Third, I love that Kaylee allows you to break up the full six week program into chunks that work best for you and your dog; we started with two weeks to set solid foundations. Fourth, the progress videos were SUPER in depth and helpful. LOVED seeing what she was working on while there, which also equipped us to continue training at home. Fifth, — and I can say this now that her first two weeks are done — both my partner and I are truly amazed at how much progress our girl made in those two weeks. I feel she came home a different dog: well-adjusted, equipped to handle stimulation, and obey our commands. Our relationship with our dog feels so much stronger because there is that trust, and we can thank Canine Unifursity for so much of it.

Canine Unifursity (Owosso) is fantastic! I brought my recently adopted 1 yr old rescue pup for a one week board & train session to teach him some basic manners with an emphasis on impulse control. I work from home and my pup had a bad habit of demanding that I play with him when he felt like I should. His version of demands were nipping and barking. Very much not appreciated. Kaylee taught him so much in the short time he was there. Not only did she teach him, but I learned, too. Kaylee sent many short videos of his training sessions to show me how to work with him once he was back home. The videos are a great resource for when I need a refresher on how to work with my boy. Not only did he learn, but he also had so much fun. I was worried that he wouldn't want to come home. For the expert training and boarding, the price was very reasonable and my boy was taken care of very well. I would not hesitate to use Canine Unifursity again. Highly recommended. Also to note that if you aren't familiar with the area (I was not), Owosso is a cute town with plenty of little local shops to visit after you drop off your pup.
