Does this facility have live camera feeds of the boarding kennels? I haven't found a facility down here professional enough to let customers see "behind the scenes".
Thanks for your input. I don't know you, and I don't know the kennel owners. That's why I was hoping to find a company down here that's confident enough in their operation to allow for some transparency.

Not sure if the lack of live streaming qualifies the lack of professionalism, but what a great feature that would be. The staff will show you behind the scenes there. We have been a client of CIA for almost 7 years. The main reason we continue is my dogs reaction at pick up has not changed. She will run up to greet me and then wants to go back. We do miss the Snapchat during K9 fit. If y'all are looking for a boarding facility I suggest to visit, have them perform a temperament test and allow your dog a day of K9 fit before and see it's demeanor at pick up

Could you tell me a bit more if I were to pick the option, board & training? Does that mean my puppy will stay over there for a certain amount of time?
Yes, your dog stays there for 4 weeks. When you pick him up, you get a lesson with your dog where you learn what your dog had been working on and how to do the techniques properly. This is also followed by 3 months of Saturday group classes where you improve your handler skills and continue your dog's training. It is an excellent program! I did it with my German Shepherd and highly recommend it!

They offer different packages.It is best to call and review what you are requesting. They usually have a demonstration on Saturday mornings.

I wish I could leave a better review, but our first experience with Canines in Action was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. They offered a free consultation to meet our dog, so my wife and I scheduled an appointment. We arrived 15 minutes early, hoping to make a good first impression and learn more about their training program. When we arrived, one of the employees informed us that the head trainer had just stepped out but would be back shortly. We understood and waited. After some time passed, we were told he would be back in about 15 minutes. Then we were told again that he was “right down the road.” This continued for over an hour, and the head trainer never showed up. At that point, my wife and I decided to leave. We would have completely understood if they had simply rescheduled, but instead, we felt like we were being strung along with no real communication or respect for our time. First impressions matter, especially when trusting a business with your dog. Unfortunately, this situation gave us a very poor impression of both the trainer and the company as a whole. Over a month later, Canines in Action contacted us asking if we were still interested in training, keep in mind not apologizing for what happened or trying to figure a solution. We explained what happened and said we would consider coming back if they were willing to offer a discounted rate due to the inconvenience and unprofessional experience. Their response was that we “should come in person to ask the head trainer.” Honestly, I could not believe that response. After already wasting over an hour of our time once, asking us to come back in person just to request a discount felt like more of the same lack of professionalism. Instead of acknowledging the situation and trying to make it right, it felt like they were continuing to play games. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Canines in Action. First impressions are everything, and this one was enough for us. Zero stars from me.
