FirstBarkMaya is amazing!! She took the time to get to know my dogs and their anxieties. I loved being able to use positive reinforcement to help my dogs feel safer and more confident. Walks are now so much more enjoyable and our home is much more calm. Maya gave me some great strategies to use and always listened to my concerns and answered any questions I had. Would highly recommend!

I highly recommend Maya DePasquale of Cape Fearless Dog Training. When we started training, our puppy Sable would not move at all with the collar on. Maya used patience and positive reinforcement to gain Sable’s trust introducing new situations. She also trained us as owners how to encourage Sable and build confidence with practice at home during the week. Sable now walks confidently on leash in the park and in the neighborhood. Sable graduated yesterday! Maya did a fantastic job with all of us.

We had the best experience with Maya! She provided just the calm and confident direction and support we needed to get through a few challenges. Maya is professional, knowledgeable, keenly observant, and attuned to both canine and owner factors. Maya focuses on the relationship between me and my pup through positive reinforcement and pain-free behavior modification. With real world sessions in the community, we were quickly able to tackle the training issues while simultaneously equipping me with the skills and tools I needed to take it from here.
