Cape Fearless Dog Training

We couldn't recommend Maya and Cape Fearless dog training enough. After adopting a puppy from the shelter we were searching for a trainer who could help us with the basics while also being cognizant that our pup was a bit skiddish and hesitant to trust people. Maya instantly won her over and her training tools and tips resonated with us and our puppy. She did a great job and we are so thankful for a well trained pup!

Maya is the most fabulous trainer! My boy Loki has a ton of stress and anxiety specifically around anything new to him including people, other dogs, and any new experiences or novel objects. Basically everything! Loki fell in love with Maya immediately and she was able to provide us the tools to help introduce him to new things. I now feel comfortable using these tools to help him meet people and other dogs on our own. He is able to continue to grow his circle and overcome his fears because of the tools and help she provided us! She doesn’t just train dogs, she trains the humans to continue to help the dogs even after our sessions are done. She helped give me and my boy Loki the confidence we both need to maneuver the world and continue to learn and grow together.

Maya is the best!! My rescue Marley has anxiety and was struggling with reactivity to other dogs and loud objects like buses. We live in an apartment downtown so walks were beyond stressful and overwhelming for us. I can’t believe how much progress he made over 6 sessions using the tools/techniques from training. Maya was beyond knowledgeable and has a kind, patient but firm style that works the best for my guy. She explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand and implement plus she’s very responsive outside of sessions too. I can’t recommend Cape Fearless enough, it’s changed our lives for the better!
