Cape Fearless Dog Training

Working with Maya was so great! Our dog was aggressive towards other dogs and sometimes people, and honestly cannot believe the progress Moose has made. We learned so so much about dog behavior and body language and what to do to help Moose feel less threatened and more comfortable around other dogs. Moose responded so well to Maya and the techniques she showed us, every session was really productive and fun (and Moose has a new best friend!). We feel so much more confident taking Moose places with other dogs. Cannot recommend Maya enough!

I could not have ask for a better trainer. Maya truly has all the components one wants. She’s kind and patient with so much knowledge about dog behavior. She was constantly teaching me little tidbits that help me understand my girl better. She transformed my sweet but very vocal and reactive barker to a quiet sweet little wiggle but who is chiller, less anxious and more well adjusted. We have been able to take the foundations of what she worked so hard with Lou on and implement them into our every day activities. I used to regularly be near tears trying to get out of the house because my dog would not be able to stop barking through the entire process. That all seems like a distance memory now as she happily and quietly waits to load up, quietly takes walks without barking at dogs or people and quietly waits in place for meals. I truly can’t recommend Maya highly enough! I wish we could take her home to Los Angeles with us. Do yourself and your dog a favor and let Maya tach them the basics of chill.

Maya is the best! My Nova had problems with leash aggression towards other dogs, people, and children to the point where I was nervous to walk her by myself. After the first session I could already tell there was major improvement. We did 6 sessions and she's completely transformed! Maya gave us all the tools and resources we needed for training and practicing behaviors in our own time and was always available outside of our sessions as well.

Maya is amazing! I absolutely recommend using her private one on one training. She uses positive reinforcement to not only help train your dog but to train you, the owner, and it makes for such a positive environment for the both of you.
