Our residency programs are a favorite solution for dog owners who either don't have the time to devote to the daily dog training process and who would rather have Carolina Dog Training, LLC do the "heavy lifting" regarding establishing a training foundation that subsequently only has to be maintained after your dog has already been Trained by Elaine™. Additionally, this unique program is ideal for dogs lacking healthy social skills with other dogs. Since your dog will be integrated into our balanced pack, he or she will learn the joy and peace of being a cooperative member of the group.

For owners who have the time and desire to commit to taking an active role in the dog training process, consider in home dog training. Carolina Dog Training, LLC will train you and your dog in the familiar environment of your own home and neighborhood, including local hot spots! Pet stores, greenways, and dog walking sites are a few good examples where we will work together to achieve a customized list of your goals.

Carolina Dog Training, LLC can assist you in the process of becoming a Pet Partner Therapy Animal Team as well as provide the necessary training for your dog to attain the basic obedience skills required to pass the Team Evaluation! The latest research shows that the Human-Animal Bond through Animal Assisted Therapy comes with a whole host of benefits: • A therapy dog has a positive effect on patients’ pain level and satisfaction with their hospital stay. • The presence of an animal can significantly increase positive social behaviors among adults and children alike. • Pet Partner Teams Volunteer in schools, libraries, hospitals, nursing homes, and many other venues.

We have three dogs, have lived in two states, and have experienced many different trainers and training programs. Elaine is unequivocally the best trainer around. Her knowledge and expertise are unsurpassed, and she gives the owners the much-needed patience, support, and guidance to ensure a successful outcome for the dogs. I would recommend Carolina Dog Training to any dog owner wishing to create healthier and more fulfilling relationships with their dogs. She has trained two of our dogs, and while they have always been angels to me, now they are angelic in others' eyes, too! And the impact lasts - Gunner was trained more than six years ago and he's retained what he learned - even when I am not quite as disciplined as I should be :)
I would highly recommend Elaine. My 8 month old puppy spent two weeks with her and came back a different pup. Our house is so much calmer, now that my pup listens and our walks are so enjoyable without all the pulling. Elaine also taught me how to be confident with continuing to train my puppy. I will recommend her to friends and will use her again if I ever get another dog/puppy.
What an amazing job with our dog. Was well worth the money and time. The only negative I have is, Elaine’s way of talking to the dog owner. Was not a fan of that. With that being said, our dog has never been better.

We brought our 9 month old GSP for a 2 week training program, and when we picked her up we were shocked. She was so well behaved and able to manage her big feelings. The true test though was when we brought her home… she is so much more fun to live with. She has reduced anxiety and an incredible ability to maintain the commands (place, down, sit, etc.). We can bring her places and have company and not worry about her behavior. Elaine worked doggie magic.
