Cat For Dogs Training LLC

My husband and I sent our 3 year old pit mix, Stella, to Catherine for her 3 week board and train program. We have a new baby at home and wanted to be more confident in Stella’s training and obedience, and we are thrilled with the progress she made with Catherine. Stella is so much more well behaved and much calmer at home now. Catherine had a training session with us when we picked up Stella to help us learn how to maintain her training at home. We are continuing to work on reinforcing what Stella learned with Catherine and are so happy we made the decision to do the board and train.

We did the 4 week board and train with our new rescue, Riley, with Cat after our vet recommended her. Riley was very timid and Cat adapted her training to Riley since it took a few extra days to build trust with Riley. Cat even offered to spend a few extra days after the 4 weeks with Riley to reinforce the trainings. We are now able to communicate better with Riley and we will be boarding her with Cat for any future needs as well! Highly recommend Cat!

Catherine is a five star dog trainer! We sent our 10 month old Golden Retriever, Cody, to train with Cat in May 2024. He was a good boy, but had trouble with self control and excitement. Cody stayed with Catherine for 4 weeks. We were initially worried and sad to leave Cody for so long but we are thankful that we did. Cody returned home the same sweet puppy but with a lot more manners. While he was there, Catherine sent videos of his progress and all of the fun he was having with his new furry friends. She made sure Cody had plenty of training time, and free play time. She really cares about the dogs and has superb customer service. Since Cody has been home we go on daily walks where he heals on a loose leash right at my side. Cody waits patiently for his food, and happily follows our instructions. He is more calm and seems more at peace knowing his boundaries and what is expected of him.

I can’t say better things about Catherine and CatforDogs! I was a mess about leaving our 1.5 year old Chocolate Lab for 3 weeks during our wedding and honeymoon, but Cat made sure to send so many videos and pictures updates of our girl which put smiles on our faces each time. We had been utterly SHOCKED by Rhodes’ improvements after just 3 weeks at training! She comes when called, even in distracting environments! She automatically leaves it when you say it and she is significantly better at walking on the leash! No pulling and walking on a short leash. Rhodes also seemed to be having so much fun with all the other dogs Cat had for boarding/training - she always looked so happy in the videos. We are so thankful for Cat and everything she did to get our girl to be more behaved 🥲
