Cat For Dogs Training LLC

I was referred to Catherine by a neighbor after asking where they got their dog trained because I noticed such a remarkable positive change in his behavior when he returned home after his Board & Train at Cat For Dogs. I recently sent my own very active one-year-old Goldendoodle, Phoebe, and I'm so glad I did. Catherine kept me updated with her progress by videos throughout her stay. When I picked her up I had an hour and a half lesson reviewing the training I needed to continue at home, and per Catherine's request, I continued to check in with her almost daily with Phoebe's progress at home or with any questions I had. Catherine really cares for the dogs and their owners, and I appreciate how down to earth and helpful she is, with positive encouragement as she educates ME on how to train Phoebe. Catherine has a way of explaining her training instructions so that they are simple enough for me to grasp without getting overwhelmed with what I need to do. My bond with Phoebe continues to grow and it's been very rewarding to see her behavior improve and I am less frustrated as a result. I highly recommend Cat For Dogs and give my heartfelt thanks to Catherine for the positive experience for Phoebe and me both.

Benny is a 2 year-old Poodle rescue who came to us with anxiety and socialization issues. After spending a month with Catherine, he came home a confident, happy, fun-loving dog. We continue Benny’s training under Catherine’s supervision, and he continues to respond well. She says she doesn’t work miracles, but she does. Our experience and observations are spot-on with the reviews on her website. It is so obvious that Benny loves Catherine, and that is the most telling indication of her kindness and commitment to those dogs lucky enough to be in her charge.

Cat is an amazing trainer. Our puppy Mochi was a handful but she was patient with him and was able to teach him commands. She was available to us at all times and sent us photos and videos of Mochi while he was in training. No puppy can be perfect, but she gave us tools to continue training him at home. She gave us constructive feedback as well. She continues to check on his progress. It was apparent to us that he cares about dogs and really strives for them to succeed. Highly recommended.

Cat did an amazing job with our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Dutch. It was so hard to leave him for four weeks of training but once I began watching the daily videos of his progress and how much fun he was having- I knew I made the right decision! Dutch came home the same dog- just more well behaved ;) I have tried other trainers only to feel like It was not worth the money. I highly recommend Cat and promise you won’t be disappointed!
