Cathy's Canines

There are not enough words to describe how Cathy has changed our lives. We love our dogs (6 & 8 years old) but we realized that we were being held prisoner by their bad behavior. We couldn't have people to our house because of them. After training with Cathy we more have happy, confident, behaved dogs. We had a graduation party today with 40+ people and the dogs were fantastic! The party was a success. I can enjoy my home, my pets and my family completely now. Thank you Cathy, from the bottom of my heart, for changing our lives!

Cathy- I have two very energetic Saint Bernard dogs. I love my dogs with all my heart, but they can, at times, be quite a handful. When trying to figure out what I could do to improve their behavior and calm them down, I knew I had to reach out to Cathy for help. Cathy came into my life with the focus of helping transform my crazy canines into well-behaved and well-mannered dogs. I personally have a lot of health problems and do not have the energy to corral high energy dogs, particularly when they are running around the house and jumping on people, myself included. Ever since Cathy came into my home, my dogs have not even tried to jump on me or any other person that walks through the door. She has really taken the time to get to know my dogs inside and out and understand what makes them click and what triggers them into craziness. Cathy took the time to understand that one of my dogs was hyper because he was bored and just wanted to help me with my health. She helped me understand that one of my dogs is very empathetic and picks up on the energy in the room. She helped me see that one of my dogs needs a job and wants to work and feel like he is helping me. I now make sure that I am giving him small jobs around the house, such as helping me off the couch or up the stairs, and it has made a world of difference in his overall energy. I am very thankful that Cathy came into my life to help me with my dogs. Before Cathy came along, I was on the verge of getting rid of one of my dogs because of his high energy and my health limiting my ability to walk him every day. I cannot thank Cathy enough and I would not have changed anything about my experience with Cathy’s Canines.

I could write a novel about how wonderful Cathy is...but I'll try to keep it brief. My husband and I have two dogs, a very high-strung 8-year old mini Australian Shepherd and a stubborn 10-month-old Westie puppy. We originally called Cathy to help us with our Westie's lack of potty training skills. Not only has our Westie improved tremendously, but our Aussie has also calmed down and learned to be less anxious. Cathy goes above and beyond for her clients; she takes our dogs for walks, pet-sits when we go away, and even took care of our Westie overnight after she was spayed. Bottom line: if you live in the Phoenix area and need support with your dogs, you'd be doing yourself (and your dogs) a disservice if you hire anyone other than Cathy!!!
