She was able to teach my little rescue as well as me, how to learn what we each needed to make our relationship perfect. In just five weeks with our 4-month-old boxer, Poppy, Cathy has worked wonders. We've established a consistent routine, mastered crate training, and Poppy now confidently executes basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Poppy now walks with incredible confidence and swagger on the leash and she has really come out of her shell to be a super social dog! Cathy did an amazing job with our mini schnauzer, Otto. He is a three-year old rescue, who was pretty well behaved, but definitely believed he was in charge of the house. I’m admittedly quite a softy with dogs (especially Otto), but Cathy taught my wife and me how to get his behavior in-line but also some fun games to stimulate his mind and increase our interactions with him. He barks at strangers far less when we’re on walks or when they come to the house. He patiently waits for his food dish to be filled or to be given a treat. He’s even learned (for the most part) to wait for one of us to cross the threshold of our house before he goes inside. After just five sessions, we’re shocked at how much he’s improved. Otto is remarkably stubborn, but Cathy is extremely helpful, and if you stick with her program, your dog will show quick changes for the better. Thank you for everything, Cathy! We all enjoyed working with you and can’t wait to report back on Otto’s further progress!
