I adopted a 5 month pitbull mix in October of 2023. First few months with her were great until she hit 9 months old. She began reacting to all dogs and showing aggression. At the time I was living in NYC and found it very difficult to find a reliable trainer. Unfortunately my disability got worse and soon retired and moved to the Albany area. There I looked up dog trainers and that is how I found Certified Canine Service. After reading all the wonderful reviews, I decided to give them a chance. I initially decided on service dog training due to my disability and worked with Rachel to formulate a training plan. We decided on 4 weeks of behavioral training and we would decide from there if she was capable to perform As a a service dog. 4 weeks later, my Lilly is amazingly well behaved. She shows no signs of reactivity or aggression. I can not thank Rachel and all the trainers enough for all the work they put in to Lilly. It's like she is a new dog and her confidence shows. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You not only saved my Lilly but you gave me hope in a time that I really needed it. Your team is outstanding. I will be forever grateful.

We brought our puppy to be trained as a service dog and it was such a great experience. They took the time to answer all of my questions, told exactly how everything worked, and tolerated my calls to check in. I think that anyone who has worked with them would say that I t is clear to see that everyone here loves what they do and they just love all of the dogs. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a trainer.

Everyone here is phenomenal! I took my 7 year old dog Kiara to them for a basic obedience training. Before, she was very energetic, didn’t listen to me, and would lunge and pull on walks. Forget getting her to sit or lay quietly somewhere. When I picked her up, she had done an entire 180!! She listens so well, and walks right beside me without pulling at all. I’ve been taking her everywhere with me and she is so content to just sit and wait while I’m doing something. The trainers spent about an hour going every thing with me, each command, how to correct her using the e-collar, where she should be walking next to me, etc. I’m so so grateful for them, and I’d absolutely recommend taking your dog here!
