Dear Vicki, I am a disabled canine assisted individual. We we also attacked by rogue dog during training with Jenny. It was fortunate her older and larger brother was well trained and repulsed the attack(s) efficiently. We too suffered as a result of "bad dog ownership". So the answer is not a short one but will take some committed dedication to your pups confidence. In short, take the time to reassure your pup before each and every encounter. Praise her calm assured state and even offer a quality reward. The dog does remember, but you do. So you will also have to consciously practice doggy forgiveness but act in advance before the crisis begins. We are in Edmonton, AB. We are not attached to Cesar's school, but our common experiences and use of calm control has been essential in Jenny's calm controlled state in public. Be your dogs calm controlled leader. Lead by example and your dog will follow. Praise and reward good behavior. Do not allow the bad. I hope this helps.

I would have to say call the facility and see if they can refer you to someone that has taken his course and that lives in your area. He teaches people from all over the country and all over the world.

The question is what have you been feeding her? If you are feeding pedigree and she doesn't like it try fresh meat. Also if she is unhappy she won't eat. 1. Food preferences 2. Mental state.

Maybe cutting up holes in the fence could help. If worried about safety then add a glass or metal mesh to the cut section would help.

Thank you he has a fenced in area where he uses the bathroom no garden around and he’s not neutered yet. Treats do not work I’ve tried everything from dog treats and kibbles to lunch meat to carrots. I’ve found a dog trainer my neighbor is trying her out first. If she cannot fix his issue what’s the next step to talk to you?

does something happened with the leash? Dogs in nature dont have leashes, they just follow the leader on instinct. So, rewarding him with favorite snack, you have to traín at home putting on and off the leash, first show him the leash, let him sniff It but not bite, make him confortable on leash, step 2 let him turn around you, in circles. Be patient, practice 15 minutes every day for as long It takes. Maybe a well behaved neighbour-dog and owner can help! Dogs copy behavior. If even that, you cant manage, call a professional trainer in your área. wish you the BEST! One question, where do you keep your dog now yo do his poo y pee? In a garden? Biking is the best for huskys to my experiencie.

Keep your dog on a leash until it's trained. Take the dog biking to burn off energy before you walk it, and do obedience exercises like fetch. Or join an agility group. Or join an obedience group once a week until it accepts you as the leader of the pack, but be strict. No means no, always. You can also use a bench when you're not supervising because the "sssst" or "no" command only works when it does something forbidden. Keep it up! And never elicit pity. A dog on its bench, bed, or the floor, not on your bed or sofa, because little by little it will take over your space.

That is up to you. Leaders invite the pup on the furniture if they want to. You have the choice to allow it or not. You also have the choice to ask the dog to get off the furniture. My dogs wait to be invited.

Have you tried a water bottle vest? They are vests that you can attach 2 liter bottles of frozen water which will 1 way them down which causes more work to pull (which gives the environment of pulling a sled and items which is what they are bred for) while running, walking, biking, hiking whatever you like to do and 2 the ice will cool them down while doing so. Also "exercise" isn't always the only thing to wear out a husky. They are job dogs so extreme busy bodies. They need something to keep their brain and body active. You can do this as training them new tricks or service dog training etc. Good luck!

Remember to say, and important is IF you understand who to get it right 👍 so your dog can fell it. Your dog have to been with you Rigth hand, hole you dog in to legs so when dog try to 'take over take the leash up,_to the right legs so dogs feel It's Yours control.
