Charlie's Dog Obedience Training

I recently adopted a 4 month old German Shepherd with no training whatsoever. Had never even had a leash on. He had also been allowed to develope bad habits. Within a few weeks he is now in the process of becoming the well-behaved dog I need him to be. We have work yet to do but now have the tools to get there. I now know why he has certain behaviors due to his breed and age. That helps me to be consistent with his training.

The best decision was to take my dog Sam to Charlie’s Dog obedience with Donna . I can’t even begin to say all the great things she has taught us . Before we came to see Donna , taking a simple walk was a work out . I would get taken in every which direction and he was scared of everything . She knew right away Sam was a submissive dog , I just thought he was a scaredy cat and didn’t know why . She has not only built his confidence but mine also to be the leader/handler I need to be to best protect him and keep him comfortable with his surroundings . We have had not only the best 1 on 1 trainings , invited to a Christmas walk at Lowe’s with other dogs that had graduated or still in training , other stores and I was amazed how well behaved Sam was , not the same dog when I had first brought him in. Donna not only has taught us so much during class but has always told me to reach out if needed any help. She has always answered my text messages when I was unsure if I was doing something correctly or not . I can’t wait for me and Sam to continue to learn and grow from Donna . We will be back for off leash training when it gets warmer. !!!
