Cherry Hoggs

We had a fantastic experience working with Cherry Hoggs. We’re based in San Francisco and spent stupid money on trainers and guides for our tough pup before stumbling upon this duo. We got our pup Willa during peak Covid and she was definitely under-socialized resulting in fear of new people and dogs. Unfortunately, her response was aggressive tendencies…leash aggression, barking at servers, random people walking by, and all guests who entered the house (and usually scaring them) and a general sense that she’s in charge / an equal with my husband and I to name a few…I saw so many similarities between Willa and the types of dogs Cherry Hoggs transforms and after a few phone calls with Charlie, we were sold. We traveled to MN and dropped Willa off for a 2 week board and train. The results were drastic! She has become so much better in the home and actually listens to our corrections. We can now take her to restaurants and coffee shops and she’ll ‘place and wait’. This NEVER would have been possible before. We even were able to have over 20 people over for the holidays without any issues. Charlie and Frankie have given us the tools to communicate with our pup clearly! They know their stuff and are incredibly kind and just lovely people. Cannot recommend Cherry Hoggs enough!

Let's just say our tween rescue Beagle "Ocho" had a nose for trouble before joining the Cherry Hoggs pack! With their guidance, we understand Ocho much better and have established consistent boundaries and follow through that keep all of us sane (Ocho included). The days of living with a counter-surfing, Iditarod-training, indoor-peeing pooch have thankfully come to an end. Instead of hearing "No! No! No!" all day, Ocho enjoys long walks, snoozing in his bed, and loving on his humans. Thanks aren't enough to Frankie and Charlie!
