By far our most popular training program, our Board and Train service gives us the opportunity to work directly with your dog for 12 days. During our time together, we give your dog the obedience skills (like leash manners and commands like Sit, Stay, Down, and Place) and practice he needs to be successful. We also take walks, play fetch, and rest. Your dog spends the days and nights with our Trainer, no cold or lonely kennels involved. You get lots of photo and text updates throughout your time apart, and when you return to pick up your best friend, you learn how to keep up the progress at home.

Private 1 hr lessons with owner and dog scheduled once a week. Our private day training program is 10 lessons where they will learn the basic obedience commands. These commands will also be taught to you to continue training and enforce consistency in between the scheduled lessons.

Stay and Refresh - (Alumni Boarding) Once your dog has completed either our Day Training or Stay and Train programs they will be eligible to Stay and Refresh with us. During their Stay we will refresh all of the obedience and commands learned. So your dog will return to you even better!

Nick and Lauren are amazing! We started 10-weeks of private lessons when our German Shepherd/Husky mix, Tatum, was 6 months old. She was a handful (as most puppies are) and thankfully we found Nick and Lauren. They were incredibly helpful in teaching basic commands as well as addressing Tatum’s mouthiness, jumping up on people/counters, pulling while walking on leash, barking at vacuum, the list goes on. I am so grateful to them for “training” me too and helping me become a better pet parent. After a few sessions, my neighbors started commenting on how well Tatum was listening and walking on leash so nicely. Walks are much more enjoyable now for both of us. Working with Nick and Lauren was such a pleasure, their knowledge of training and passion for their clients is so special. We are looking forward to working with them again.

Two very passionate and caring people about helping to train dogs. We had brought in our 1.5 year old adopted dog who we had thought about bringing back to the adoption house because we just couldn’t get her to listen. We were then referred to Chicagoland dog training and the rest is history. They gave use the tools and support we needed to help train our dog over several lessons. They helped us to bring our adopted dog into our family. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great experience! Wish we had done this sooner with our previous dogs. Nick and Lauren set clear expectations, and taught me and my husband how to correct behaviors calmly and consistently. This built more trust between us and our recently rescued pooch, and consequently, we now have a more obedient and confident dog. It's not a quick process, but it's a worthwhile investment.
