I had an amazing experience with Chomps Dog Training in Erie, Colorado. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional, patient, and thorough. Their communication was excellent. They kept me informed every step of the way with texts and videos, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood how to continue the training at home. What impressed me most was how much time and effort they put into working with my dog. You can truly see the results. He listens so well now, is better behaved, and seems more confident overall. Overall we are pleased with the training program we ended up with from Chomps! From the first quick intro inquiry to the first follow up to the update that we needed to switch from the 11 day program to the 18 day program based on Levi's behavior. Although we were not thrilled about it we trusted the experts at Chomps to know what was best for our little guy! Being a border collie he required professional training that both his dad and I could not provide. To see a herding dog be able to just chill out and hang on a dog bed for extended periods of time is wild! He now has a great recall, contact heal, sit, down, stay, place and kennel command that we have stayed on top of since bringing him home! I brought my reactive dog (who acted aggressively towards dogs) Onyx into Chomps for their behavioral modification training. While it was pricey, it was well worth it and the results were exactly what was needed. He stayed there for 4 weeks and since he’s been home his reactivity towards dogs is at a 0. As long as you’re good at keeping up with the training for the first couple weeks of them being home, they will respond very well. I am now at the 2 week mark of him being home and his whole demeanor has changed, and I now have more freedom of what I can do with him. The trainers at this facility were very well informed and did very well in preparing me to go home with the pup. The only note I have, is that I wish there were more updates, pictures, videos while onyx was at the facility. They were good about taking videos talking about onyx’s progression, just would have been nice to have more, even if it was simple pictures. Overall I was very happy with my experience and cannot thank Chomps more for their time put into my dog’s training!!

Nick is awesome. I train horses and worked with trainers to help my own competative success. I am a hard sell. Nick is next level. He is a skilled professional with a friendly manner. Louie is a mastiff pitt that was overbearing and in dog fits with evry dog he saw. Louie came back a changed man in 3o days. He is obedient and we have tools to control his aggessive reacrions. I took my time to research and interview a lot of dog trainers in the Denver area before settling on Chomps and it was a life saver. I purchased a corgi puppy and was going through a big transition in my personal life at the same time and really needed someone to help with Deebo. No one really tells how you hard puppies are! They just tell you how cute they are but man it was a chore. I ended up doing the two extensive training programs with them and deebo went away and came back another dog. Super confident, not reactive, responsive and so well behaved. The were able to teach him leash, recall, responsiveness, demands, and I get so many compliments on how well behaved deebo is (a corgi too!) Not only do I have an amazing confident dog but I am confident in bringing him out without the worry of him misbehaving. They also took the time to respond to my calls, texts and work with me and him on his puppy issues. I can honestly say that this was the best big money investment I've made into myself in a long time. So incredibly worth the money!
