Dogs) is to provide customized reward based training support to dogs and their guardians through the application of modern, humane (LIMA) and science based training principles. This class focuses on advanced manners and confidence-building, ensuring a dog can demonstrate excellent behavior in a variety of public settings. Passing the CGC test is a prerequisite for many therapy dog programs and is a gateway to other AKC titles. Fee includes 4 prep classes and 1 evaluation at final date. Carly helped Ferguson (18 month old Golden Retriever) and me to work our way through Therapy Dog Training with successful results! We both learned a lot from Carly and would look to her for guidance in the future.
You can see all the certifications for CHQ Dogs on their website. I took my golden retriever puppy here and learned so much. My dog and I have an amazing relationship. My dog was very skittish from a young age and Carly helped both my dog and I navigate such a tricky saturation. I highly recommend CHQ Dogs.
Carly has been great! We have really appreciated her suggestions and how patient and kind she has been with our dog. She always seems to have reasonable and effective solutions for the issues we bring up.
We did one session with Carly and our German shepard puppy and what a difference it made! She taught us how to teach our dog. Carly has such a calm and gentle presence and is perfect for training your dog!
