Bringing my three bandogges to Chris for training honestly changed my life. Before, it felt like they were running the show — dragging me around on walks (to the point I sprained my ankle), refusing to get in our vehicle (I would have to pick up my 170lb dog and put him in the truck), jumping on people, and just doing whatever they wanted. It was overwhelming, and I felt like I had no control.
Chris turned that all around. He taught them patience, how to actually listen, and broke those bad habits I thought I’d just have to live with. Now, I can walk them at my pace without feeling like I’m getting dragged down the street. Loading them in the vehicle is no longer a stressful event. And my "bad boy" Kane now behaves and listens well enough to walk without a leash.
Chris didn’t just train my dogs… he gave me confidence and brought real structure into our lives. I’m beyond grateful. If you’re struggling with your dogs, don’t give up — call Chris. It’s seriously a game-changer.

We had Chris come to our home for an initial evaluation of our dogs (pit bulls). He offered us a ton of very helpful information and guidance. This guy KNOWS dogs! Extremely knowledgeable. He did not pressure us at all to sign up for long-term training sessions, which was refreshing. He has very balanced approach that is patient, but direct and honest. We really appreciate his insight.

The BEST trainer in the Kansas City metro for dog training, especially behavioral issues. This is the only person I trust to work with me and my nut of an Australian Cattle Dog. I accomplished more in a couple sessions with Chris than I did over two years on my own - and I consider myself a fairly advanced dog owner.
Just as importantly, he's incredible at demonstrating and teaching you the skills that you need as an owner/handler. He also helped me get started with dog sports, which has been an incredible outlet for my dog's drive.
The photo may not look like much, but it's night and day how calm he was walking in a busy area instead of trying to herd every car, bag, and squirrel passing by.

Considering I'm only ever away from our puppy, Bodhi, for more than a couple of hours at a time; I was nervous about sending him to board and train. But as soon as I met Chris in person and saw how calm and kind he interacted with Bodhi, all of that anxiety went away. I was immediately impressed with with how quickly he went to work with our dog, not only training him but teaching myself and my husband based on our dog's specific needs. He updated us throughout his stay and assured us he was being his normal goofy self, but that he was thriving getting to learn under an experienced hand.
Bodhi has since developed problem solving skills, and I have become a more confident dog owner. Chris most certainly has our greatest respect for his time and dedication.
