These were hands down the BEST obedience classes I have ever attended with my dog. I took my 4th Australian Shepherd to Angela & it was awesome. A big class of different breeds which I was glad to see as my puppy needed the socialization of aggressive & non aggressive puppies, unlike some who left reviews, I welcomed the diversity. I went on past the puppy class & attended 2 other obedience classes. My dog now has his CGC & is the best behaved dog in my neighborhood. His best friend went to another local class & & different trainer. She is not near as behaved as my boy! YOU do have to put in your homework if you want a well mannered dog though, you can’t expect him to come up to you & say “mom, let’s study my lessons”. I think that comes in a much later class from Angela! Angela was patient, polite, and did NOT act like a know it all. Unlike another local class I attended with my dog, Angela was direct but kind, she taught but didn’t belittle or yell at you. All handouts were printed & given you, not sent in multiple emails (I’m retired & don’t check email every day)! My dog was introduced to many distractions like wheel chairs & other out of the normal things. He was introduced to agility tunnels, jumps, boxes to stand on caps to put on (for graduation),beginning rally, etc. This was great experience for my puppy & a definite confidence builder! Her air conditioned & heated area was large & magnificent! I loved the play room for puppies to play in before class. The other trainer that I used was in the hot sun which my puppy hated. For $150, I expected more. I expected the quality of training & the facility that Angela offered for $90. I am so disappointed that the pandemic has closed Angela’s training facility & hope she can reopen again even if on a smaller scale. I would go to Angela’s training in her front yard any day over anyone else’s training. Angela McMurray is an excellent teacher & trainer! I sure miss your guidance & teaching on my new puppy!
