FirstBarkHired for in home one on one lessons. Immediate improvement with our dogs behavior. Great basic training and tips on how to handle specific issues we were having. I was hesitant to have dog training since I know its usually a "here is what you, the human, is doing wrong" but I did not feel that way with this training, no judgement zone. Thank you!

My 6months old Hotch when we started group class did not know how to walk on a leash (he’d sternly sit and wonder what we were doing) or sit on command. After the first class he was heeling next to me on a leash and go into the sit position when we stop! And that was just after one hour with John. Then we went into wait, drop, leave it, and the lay down position and stay. He was amazing on teaching us on how to train them as well! I was blown away on what my dog was actually able to learn to help him be the dog I knew he could be! He was just a message or call away if you had questions (yes I had a few!) and was so friendly and complete in his explanations. I fully recommend John and his classes to anyone who is looking to teach their dogs. I’m including a graduation picture of my Hotch to show others, it can be done.
Amazing trainer, the first one we worked with that was able to help us with issues and explain in the ways easy to understand. He cares about his clients and is always responsive to questions even outside of class. Will continue to use his services and highly recommend to others.
I highly recommend John for training your dog. He is professional and truly loves working with dogs. My dog, Bruno, benefited tremendously from the group classes. I have learned techniques to assist with his behavior issues and have seen a tremendous amount of improvement since participating in the classes.
