Clover Canine

I was so apprehensive about a board and train program but with all of Sully’s training classes being cancelled due to COVID; I knew I had to do something before my 7 month old big baby got much older. After searching for options, I found Clover Canine. It would have taken months and months to train Sully to the level his is now just doing weekly classes; but the board and train program allowed the proper time and continued commitment to have Sully trained in 3 weeks. This is one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I knew Sully was smart and eager to please but I didn’t know how to communicate my expectations to him. Thank you Garrett for all your hard work with Sully and myself. I look forward to continuing his training and having him CGC certified with Clover Canine.

Clover Canine has helped us tremendously with our two adopted dogs (Dobby and Luna). I wish we would not have waited so long to get them trained! Prior to Clover Canine, both our pups pulled horribly on the leash even pulling me down at one point, were reactive on leash with lunging, slept in our bed, and did not know basic commands such as sit, down, stay, etc. We did not know what else to do after trying some basic training classes at a local pet store and ultimately we were just dealing with the behavior. After 4 weeks at Clover Canine, our pups sleep in their "houses" at night, know basic commands and are extraordinarily better during walks. They heel well on walks and are easily corrected. When they do have moments of reactivity we are much more able to safely control their behavior and feel confident in our ability to walk our dogs. The staff is very professional and have lots of experience, in fact because of Clover Canine we were made aware of a neurological problem for our Dobby and they took him to the vet promptly. Not only are we happier but Dobby and Luna now have more structure and I think they are happier too. They are both still cuddly, loving and have not lost any of their personality! And on special occasions they get to sleep in bed with us at night which is now a treat rather than an expectation. Thank you Clover Canine for helping our special pups.

We were very reluctant to leave our border collie puppy for a month. Turned out to be the best decision we ever made raising a pet. He just came home and he’s a changed dog—in a good way. He now has a solid behavioral foundation going forward. The staff is awesome. Very caring and passionate about what they do. It was harder on us than our dog! We now are returning for follow up group lessons. Caymus loves going back to see his new human and dog friends. We highly recommend them.
