Clover Canine

Clover Canine taught my puppy all the basics, heal, sit, stay, down and come and it provided a discipline she’ll maintain forever, even though I slack at strict training. Garret explained what to expect if I didn’t follow his instructions once I brought her home. She has access to toys and comes and goes through the doggie door as she pleases. I don’t keep the leash on her but when I need to correct her she does listen and shows me she knows what I want from her. (Even if it’s momentarily) I waited to write my review because I wanted to be honest. For me it was very expensive to send her because I’m on a fixed income. Ruby even stayed an extra 10 days after the 3 weeks. I’m pleased and glad I was able to send Ruby to Clover Canine. Ruby is only 6 months old but will be a very large girl when she’s full grown. Because of her size I wanted her to want to mind and know manners so I won’t have a hard time controlling her. She will weigh between 80 and 90 pounds full grown. She is half pit bull and half Presa Canario. She is loving and kind and loves to play with her little pug sister. The pug gets mad at Ruby and bites her but Ruby shrugs her off and let’s her think she’s the boss. I’m happy with the results and recommend Clover Canine.

Our little Blu just finished his 4 week ecollar program with Clover Canine and we couldn’t be happier. Clover Canine is a WELL run business and a great experience for any pup. The property is well kept, and they thought about pretty much everything when starting the business. Garrett has two climate controlled kennel rooms, clean relief areas with sprayers to keep the dogs cool, a grassy front area for training and playing, and a training field in the back for weekly lessons. Blu was a little over 4 months old when we dropped him off. In just 4 weeks we have seen amazing results. Blu has shown great bathroom, kennel, walking, and house manners since we’ve had him home. The entire team was very helpful in helping us learn how to keep up all the work they put into our little pup and we are very grateful. We can’t wait till Blu’s first group lesson and the next chance to board him with this great business! Thank you Garrett, Shania, and the rest of the Clover Crew for all the hard work!

We just got a one year old German Shepherd. Was thinking to find a good trainer to teach him some manners and obedience. I did some research and very fortunately I found Clover Canine. My dog Cory attended the three weeks boot camp training. At the first demo session, Garrett taught me some skills and how to give commands to my dog. I was impressed my crazy dog turned out to be very calm and obedient in just two weeks. I realized Cory is in a good hands. Garrett is very knowledgeable, experienced and thoughtful. After the three weeks training, he took my dog all the way back to Flagstaff to home. Cory is happy and healthy and listen to us really well like a new dog. Now I know my dog has a place to go whenever I need to travel. They will also refresh the training every time if the dog boarding there. I would highly recommend Clover Canine to everyone especially if you live in Flagstaff. Garrett and his team would not let you down in my opinion. Thank you so much Garrett!

We chose Clover Canine for Bonnie, our Border Collie puppy. We quickly realized, even when Bonnie was 4 months old, that we would need professional help with her training. We entrusted Bonnie to Garrett and his staff for four weeks, and we missed her like crazy, but she came home a completely different pup! She doesn't bite any more. We can eat dinner in peace while she rests on her place bed. We can take her in public and she is well-behaved and obedient. Bonnie is now able to socialize and play with other dogs. As a Border Collie, Bonnie has lots of energy, and she does still test us. We consistently use the techniques that we learned from Garrett, though, and Bonnie immediately adjusts her behavior when given a correction. I can't say enough good things about Clover Canine! You can tell that Garrett and his staff are truly committed to the best training and care of dogs, delivered in a way that is kind and fair. We found the cost of the training to be more than competitive, but the quality of the training and care far surpassed anything we could have expected. We can't thank Clover Canine enough, and we look forward to bringing Bonnie back for more classes!
