Club-Doggie

I LOVE Club-Doggie training! Kama and Jubie are top-notch! They understand how canine minds work, and can explain it to others clearly. The training is fun, educational, fun, enlightening, fun, entertaining, and did I mention, it's FUN? They have classes for puppies, adolescent dogs, and adult dogs. We began with their puppy class, and we are looking forward to the next series of classes, tricks, and then agility! I used to believe strongly in a negative reinforcement, dominance style for training, but after seeing the results from the Club-Doggie method, I'm a total convert. More than that, I wish I could tell everyone how awesomely their method really works! I spend way more time playing with my dog and praising him, than I ever did using the old ways. It makes for a better bond between us, and it's so much more fun than using discouragement techniques (which is not to say I never need to correct my dog, I just don't have to correct very often, because he offers better behaviors! ! Also, I now know better methods for correction, that work very well and are not cruel or painful, yet are incredibly effective), I'm calmer and happier, and so is my dog. Training time is totally play time, not work! I can't say enough, so I'll stop here, with this: do yourself and your dog a huge favor - go learn at Club-Doggie! ! I hope to see you there!

We have brought our puppy to club doggie for training for the past few weeks and both her and I have loved it. We don't live in Mesa but choice club doggie over our local pet stores classes due to the experience level of the staff and the area they have for training is more conducive to training. We choose to start our puppy while she is young about 12 weeks in the puppy class so it will help her in the long run with proper dog socialization. Everyone in the room is there for the puppy class and there are normally 3 to 4 trainers for the group. I love that they first demonstrate with their own dogs how to do the commands, after that we break out and they come over to help each puppy and owner to do them. I can already tell you she loves the class and we have already got a few commands down (sit, stay, down, paw, come). If you were to ask our puppy her favorite thing it would be the end of the lass where the puppies get to socialize and run around while chasing each other.

We've trained at different locations in the Valley and Club-Doggie is the best. The training is consistent. Kama and Jubie bring in the top trainers around the country for seminars and are always investigating new training methods. Both their indoor and outdoor facilities are immaculate. The addition of a gym membership for the indoor facility is fantastic. This allows you to use the facility anytime during the week to practice what you learn in class and provides a realistic venue to run your dogs to simulate "real world courses. The atmosphere during the classes is like being around a "big family". I highly recommend Club Doggie. The facility and training is number "1", plus being able to train year-around and avoid the Arizona heat can't be beat.
