Coaching 4 paws

We sent our reactive 1-year-old dog, Sebastian, to train with Caroline after struggling for months with escalating reactivity toward people and dogs. This was an incredibly emotional and difficult decision for us, and Caroline was patient, communicative, and transparent with us throughout the entire process. From the beginning, she focused on building trust and a relationship with Sebastian before putting him to work and she kept us updated constantly with videos, explanations, and honest feedback — including both the successes and the harder moments. Over the course of training, we saw meaningful progress in Sebastian’s ability to disengage from triggers, remain neutral around people and dogs, settle in public environments, and make better decisions instead of immediately reacting. What stood out most to us was how much she genuinely cared about him. It was clear Sebastian developed a strong bond with her, and she treated him like her own. She also took the time to educate us on how to continue the structure and training at home so we can maintain and build on his progress long-term. We know training reactive dogs is not a one-size-fits-all process, and there is still work ahead for us, but we’re incredibly grateful for the foundation, support, and guidance Caroline gave both Sebastian and our family. We could have not done it without coaching 4 paws team.

We brought our 8 month old puppy for training and got the pleasure of being paired with Emily! We are so beyond grateful for all the amazing work Emily and the company have done for our dog Cassie. In 3 weeks she went from a wild child of a puppy to a mature dog who listened, could do heal, place,sit, and are now working towards off leash manners. They work with you every step of the way so you know how to continue the training at home. We wanted a dog that we could take everywhere with us and they have helped us achieve that goal. The daycare was also amazing! It helped our puppy learn to be social. I can’t say enough good things and would highly recommend them for all your dog needs.

We are absolutely elated with our experience working with Caroline at Coaching 4 Paws. From the very beginning, it was clear how deeply she cares about the dogs she works with. She treated our dog, Daphne (a German Shepherd/Border Collie mix), with so much love, patience, and dedication…it truly felt like she was working with her own dog. Caroline helped Daphne build confidence, understand and respect boundaries, and most importantly, learn to look to us for guidance instead of reacting with anxiety. One of our biggest goals was to have a well behaved, obedient dog who could still play, roughhouse, and just be a dog and Caroline delivered that perfectly. She also taught Daphne how to safely and appropriately interact with other dogs, which has made such a difference in her behavior and our peace of mind. Beyond just training Daphne, Caroline gave us the knowledge and tools to better understand and communicate with our dog in ways we never thought possible. Emily was an amazing trainer and match for my miss Violet and me honestly. She was continually reassuring throughout my pup’s boarding training process and I have seen so much improvement in her when I brought her home. It was so reassuring to see the bond and trust Violet had with her trainer affirming she is safe so I can feel calm. It really feels like I have my old dog back with more discipline and calmness. If you’re an anxious dog mom like myself and really need your pup to have obedience training, I would recommend Coaching 4 Paws and specifically Emily.
