About COAST DOGS Training By Dawn Bennett

Originally from the UK, I now reside in Sarasota, Florida. I have gained extensive experience working with dogs since 1997 and have been professionally training since 2007, teaching group and private lessons. I have experience working with behavioral issues such as reactivity; and teaching dogs and puppies life skills, manners and obedience. My training approach is "least intrusive, minimally aversive" (LIMA), the aim of which is to train your dog with minimal adverse side effects. My training plan is adjusted for each and every dog.

Dawn, what are your charges for one-on-one training with older dogs?

Hi Peg. If I come to your home it is $75 an hour. If you come to my home $60 an hour. That includes, handouts and follow up questions that pertain to that lesson. 6 lesson package and 4 lesson package has a discounts. All prices are on my website. We hit the jackpot with Dawn. Finnegan loved working with her. She was calm, knowledgeable, friendly, and very patient. She taught us multiple effective techniques for improving our dog’s behavior, and we’ve already seen a big difference with Finnegan. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a skilled and caring dog trainer.

Dawn was so helpful in training our Doberman puppy ( and us).😊 She is very knowledgeable, her techniques effective, and she is very supportive and provides follow up feedback and recommendations along the way. I rescued Honey and knew nothing about her and was very surprised at her Aggressive behavior towards people, dogs, cars, noise, etc. Dawn gave me wonderful tools to use. I had high anxiety and transferred it to my sweet honey. It’s up to me to have patience and tenacity. I know it will take time, and I am willing to invest in my sweet dog. We are already experiencing great results. I highly recommend Coast Dogs.
