Dan has been such a gift to us and our 2 golden doodle puppies. We started working with Dan when they were 9 months old (aka, dog teenagers). They were quite the handful, pre-Dan. He is beyond excellent at coaching dogs and humans. Our dogs have very different personalities, and he tailored his approach to their needs. We saw a change with them after the first session, and they continued to flourish during our sessions. We also built our confidence and ability to work with them. Dan knows his stuff, provides clear guidance, thinks creatively, has a sense of calm command, and cares deeply about our dogs’ success. To say that our dogs’ behavior and obedience are night and day after 8 sessions is an understatement. Our neighbors have enjoyed watching Dan in action and frequently comment on how great the pups are doing. I’m not sure what we would’ve done without Dan, and we so appreciate him. Dan exceeded our expectations in every way possible. My husband and I left for a short weekend cruise and our dog sitter notified us our 2 male Great Danes got into a skuffle. This was a new and sudden change in behavior for our boys. Our sitter was able to keep them separated while we were away for everyone’s safety. We returned home and kept close watch over them. One day I let one of the boys out to the yard and the other got out and they went at it in the backyard. My husband and I had a difficult time getting them off each other. That was our breaking point and we didn’t know if we’d ever be able to get them back to a peaceful and harmonious state again. I remember our first call with Dan, I was in tears and almost sobbing. I was completely exhausted and traumatized from the fight and was scared at the possibility that we weren’t going to be able to fix this. Dan started working with us and the boys individually at first and then together, once he was confident there was no animosity between them and the fight occurred in part due to an outside trigger of my neighbors dogs fighting at the fence. Just seeing the change after the first session gave me hope and confidence that it could get better. We worked with Dan directly for 8 sessions and continued working with our dogs each week on our own. Dan addressed each of our dogs individual issues, one was fearful and reactive while the other was young and had zero manners and then worked to bring them back together. We are so grateful to Dan for everything and the boys are doing so well together! Don’t hesitate to reach out to Dan for help!

Dan absolutely changed our puppy and our lives with his training. The confidence, patience and determination our pup Charlie gained in our 8 sessions was mind blowing. We decided to do the “reset” program due to our puppy being in several foster homes and zero impulse control and discipline. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and really focuses on not only training your pup but training OWNERS, giving us tools for success long term. I don’t have to be a helicopter mom anymore and Charlie can be OFF LEASH without me having to worry. It’s liberating and invaluable to have that kind of trust with your dog. As a first time puppy owner, asking Dan to work with my 5 month old Australian Shepherd puppy has been the best choice I could have made for her. He works so well with Noel! I see noticeable progression after every single lesson. He’s helped with basic obedience, leash manners, her interactions with the world around her, and anything that pops up along the way. I love how he shows me how to train her, not just showing Noel how to behave, so there’s lasting change. HIGHLY recommend!
