We had the pleasure of working with Coastal Pines K9, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Heather is incredibly knowledgeable about dog behavior and psychology. It was clear from the start that she truly understands how dogs think and communicate. She didn’t just work with our dog, she worked with us, helping us understand what our dog’s body language and expressions were really saying. I can’t thank Coastal Pines K9 enough for the incredible transformation I’ve seen in my dogs. I brought in my two pitbulls and a senior dachshund—all adults with very different personalities—and the progress they’ve made is unbelievable. They took the time to understand each of my dogs individually and gave me the tools to confidently handle them in real-world situations. Now, even when other dogs are barking or pulling on walks, mine stay focused and under control. The facility itself is top-notch—clean, organized, and clearly designed with dogs’ needs in mind. Their boarding options are also a huge plus; it’s great knowing I have a trustworthy place for my dogs when I travel. What really impressed me was the value. The cost was very fair—especially compared to previous training programs I’ve tried that didn’t deliver anywhere near these results. Coastal Pines K9 is the real deal. The team at Coastal Pines K9 are phenomenal! We rescued our pit from the shelter and began having problems walking him and with other dog reactivity. We contacted the Coastal team, met with Heather and Tom who did and evaluation and recommended a plan. They came to our house for training sessions which I highly recommend and then training at their facility. They worked with us and our dog over many months, taking phones calls and responding to numerous texts and we can say we it was all worth it! Before we met with the Coastal Pines team and all their trainers I didn’t think we were going to make it with our rescue but now almost a year later all is great and we have an incredible dog!
