About Colonial Canine LLC - Elizabeth City
We are a dog boarding, daycare and behavioral training facility. We specialize in socialization, behavioral training and working with dogs with aggression and anxiety related problems. We do not offer basic obedience training at this time outside of our S.T.A.R. Puppy or Canine Good Citizen classes. All services are by appointment only. No walk-ins. They know a lot about dogs and I fully trust them with my crazy Malinois. Love having him exposed to other dogs and also their influence on him. Highly recommend.
The people are very nice! My dogs seemed happy and well cared for after a week there. HOWEVER. The place smelled so strongly of pee when we dropped off and picked up a week later, so that was concerning.
Our sons dog Tali absolutely loves going to colonial canine. We think she even knows what days she’s going, she gets very excited on the mornings she goes there and runs in to greet everybody.

Colonial Canine is top notch. They actually have experience and it speaks for itself. I only boarded her and I can see a change in my bully breed when she came home. She is actually tired because they play with them and not just leave them in a crate or dog pen ❤️🐾❤️🐾🇮🇹🇮🇹 They truly know what they are doing! Thank you so much look forward to boot camp
