Colonial Dog Training

I grew up with dogs and thought I knew it all - I was wrong. Working with Maggie was like befriending a magician who makes you question if magic is real and then completely ruins it by telling you exactly how she did it and why magic isn't real. She can do that dog whisperer thing where suddenly your insane dog is perfectly behaved around her, but then she'll not only explain how she did it but why it worked and how you can do it. She's extremely knowledgable about animal psychology and explained what our dog was thinking throughout the training, which not only helped us understand what to do when Maggie wasn't around, but helped us bond with our puppy. We also hired Maggie to house sit and train while we were away. She sent us video updates every day, and we came home to a better version of our dog. I can't recommend this enough. Trust me, YouTube videos aren't enough. Hire the magic lady from Salem.

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Maggie, our amazing trainer who works for Colonial Dog Training. I reached out to CDT because my dog Koda was experiencing lots of behavioral issues. They responded in less than 24 hours and within a few days Maggie was over for our evaluation. She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind and patient and with her help Koda is a whole different dog (in the best way possible). I have recommended her to all my family and friends who own dogs and will continue to recommend her to anyone who asks! I think I spent more money bring Koda to dog training classes, which only set him up for failure, than I spent on CDT to have him be the best dog I could have imagine. I couldn't have asked for better results in this short amount of time, and I am so grateful that we get to have Maggie's help for as long as we need it.
