I can’t even put into words what an incredible job Vince did in training our dog! Rocky is a 6 year old Staffordshire terrier/boxer rescue who has a LOT of anxiety around other dogs. He was leash aggressive, barked ALL the time, and just generally had SO much anxiety all the time. It was like he was living in a constant state of fight or flight mode and he could not regulate his emotions once he was riled up. It made it nearly impossible to walk him. Rocky spent 6 weeks with Vince and he is a completely different dog! He is so calm, confident, and compliant! He is now able to enjoy his life and not constantly be in fear of others. Vince is a true treasure to Colorado, and his work with our dog was life changing for ALL of us. Another thing we really appreciated about our experience with Vince is that he is always available to provide additional help after we have had Rocky at home. He is so patient and helpful, and we feel like we have this amazing access to this wealth of knowledge if Rocky’s obedience starts to slip at home. Vince offers FREE group classes to the dogs he has worked with, and that’s been an awesome option for us to ensure his training remains sharp. I recommend Vince’s training program to anyone! Rocky was so stubborn and stuck in his ways - I’m truly impressed with how Vince turned Rocky’s whole temperament around in such a short period of time!

We went to Vince with our 2 year old stubborn, high energy, reactive dog Klaus for the board and train program. Vince was very responsive and at drop off explained everything we needed to know about his process, what he'd be doing with our dog, and answered all of our questions. We felt very comfortable leaving Klaus there. Once training was complete, Vince conducted a whole session of showing us exactly what Klaus learned and more importantly taught us what we needed to do moving forward. Vince was super patient with us and made sure we felt 100% comfortable going home to continue the work. Vince has been available for any follow up questions and hosts monthly group training classes for clients, which are amazing. Klaus loves and respects Vince so much and is always excited to see him. A couple weeks after training we went out of town and boarded Klaus with Vince and couldn't be happier with the convenience and the controlled environment. I recommend Colorado Canine Training to anyone looking to better understand their dog and get the training they need. Klaus is excited to work on his new skills everyday now! The only thing I regret is not calling sooner.
