Updating my review for the third time August 2025: We adopted four goldens from Mark and Deb. Echo (Judge x Chassy) in March 2014, Mango (Hank x Adeline) in October 2020, Kiwi (Diesel x Honey) in April 2024, and most recently Navia (Max x Pearl) in August 2025. Each and every one of our girls have vastly different personalities but have amazing temperaments and are the absolute best companion dogs to have. My sweet, incredible, near-perfect soul dog Echo passed in October of 2024 and I waited for ten months for her to send me another puppy when I was ready. Though I've lived with Mango and Kiwi, I moved out last year and those two pups are technically my parents' dogs, so I had no dog of my own after Echo passed away. I let Deb and Mark know when I was ready to adopt again and we scheduled a relative date as to when puppies would be ready. When a litter of five females came along, I made the appointment, hoping Echo would guide me to the puppy she meant for me to have. Navy came right to me as the first puppy and I knew she was the one when I started bawling as soon as I picked her up. Despite undergoing a surgery the same week, Mark was up and at it taking care of the adults and bringing us puppies and he and Deb are always great and personable to talk to as we go through the adoption process, which doesn't take as long after you've been around the block a time or two. Already, Navy is picking up on things that her big sisters and my boyfriend's dog are teaching her, but some things she naturally knew like fetch (as any golden retriever would know), and following us everywhere we go. She's an amazingly calm and gentle puppy, even if she is a little mischievous and curious as all puppies are. This is absolutely the place to go for your golden retriever adoption (as well as for labs, goldadors, goldendoodles, and a few smaller breeds as well, I believe.) These are lifelong companions and every single dog has stunning looks and wonderful temperaments. Thank you, as always, Deb and Mark. Original post Nov 2020: Debbie and Mark are busy breeders with multiple breeds and litters to care for but The Ranch is tidy, clean, and has a spectacular view. You can tell by the pups' attitudes that they are happy, healthy, and descended from other amazing dogs. I've read a couple reviews from potential buyers who complain about not being able to communicate with Mark and Debbie but keep in mind this is a breeder that has to care for dozens of animals a day while also communicating with various people with interest in buying pups. Multiple litters are born every month or so and Debbie and Mark devote all their time into making sure those puppies are well cared for on top of providing for the adult dogs so a little delay in responses is to be expected if anyone happens to have some trouble getting a hold of them. After all, they aren't hovering over their phones and computers at all times waiting for the next buyer and their location can have dodgy reception, as they do live on a ranch. We're incredibly lucky and have nothing but the highest praise to give Mark and Debbie for providing us with our wonderful girls.

I bought my Bichon Frise, Dollie, from Deb and Mark 14 1/2 years ago. She is still as active as ever, runs up our stairs several times a day, and jumps up onto our beds! She has been amazingly healthy all these years. We followed Deb's instructions from the beginning--specific supplements, shots, food, etc. The only problem she has had is getting constipated as she has gotten older, so we have added fresh chopped apples and carrots to her diet. There have been no hip problems, no teeth problems, nothing. Our dog is not frightened by loud sounds like fireworks because Deb and Mark condition the puppies to be used to it from birth. Dollie does not shed, but she does need to be taken to the groomers every three months to have her hair cut. So if you want a dog that doesn't shed all over your house, consider a Bichon Frise. Deb and Mark are very careful about socializing their puppies and raising them to be healthy. Our dog is SUPER cuddly and LOVES to sit as close to us as possible!! We love our dog and I'm so glad we bought her from Deb and Mark. Before coming to them, we met with someone else who raised Bichon's and the contrast was shocking. Deb and Mark are the gold standard!
