Columbia K9 Elite

We had great results from Gabby at Columbia K9 Elite. I had followed her on Facebook for a couple of months and was super impressed with her work. We decided to enroll our ~1 year old pit mix, Beaufort, into a 4 week board and train. He is a super friendly dog and knew the basics, but struggled with excitement and manners, such as jumping on people, rushing out of the crate/doors, and pulling hard on the leash anytime we took him out. The B&T includes 4 check-in sessions and up to 3 take-home weekends to work on and assess progress at home. Even in the first weekend we saw great improvement with his attentiveness and listening skills. Gabby shared a video of him being peacefully fed in the crate by her young daughter with an open door. He was later able to lay down in place easily at home (he used to aggravate our older dog with play requests non stop) and walk on a leash comfortably with a loose hand. By the end of the 4 weeks, we were able to join a session at Soda City Market and he settled and laid down in the middle of hundreds of people walking by. It was well worth the investment and we are thankful for the progress!

Sending ghost to gabby was probably the best investment I’ve made since I got him I sent him to the 3 week board and train and his confidence was a complete turnaround she also had me look at training him a whole different way she told me things I didn’t even know about my own pup he would be nervous and break down in public around distractions now he walks through distractions and large crowds doing all of his commands with no hesitation I’m soo proud of him now working on getting him off leash

My dog Maximus has been doing the board and train to work on his confidence and overall obedience. He’s only 3 weeks into the 8 week program and he’s already a completely different dog! Before, I couldn’t take him out to any stores or public settings without it being a whole ordeal of him trying to escape back to the car. Now? He can calmly walk beside me out in public and his anxiety has already improved so much with it. Gabbi definitely has a magic touch when it comes to dogs. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help training their dog.

I have a 2 YO Rottie and we’ve been training with CK9E since he was 16 weeks old. Raising a puppy is hard work and I showed up to training exhausted, overwhelmed, and totally unaware of how to handle my dog. Gabby made recommendations on the proper tools to use and is always patient in giving instructions. Her approach is informative and instructional, but you also have to be willing to put in the work. It’s really exciting to see my dog’s progress session after session, and I typically find that I really enjoy being a part of a pack with common interests and goals. Every session isn’t easy, some are challenging but when you start to see the difference in your dog it’s encouraging. We are on our 3rd 15-week session and will likely continue because training is not one and done and it’s a great outlet for dogs.
