We were walking through the galleries upstairs and stopped to see the dogs. One of them bolted for another dog and after the owner told it “no” the instructor hit the dog with a rope toy. This place is teaching abuse not training dogs.
I cant believe what I just witnessed. The woman with the doberman was walking the agility course. Dont know if she was a trainer or a student. I cant believe what I just witnessed. The woman with the doberman was walking the agility course. Dont know if she was a trainer or a student. The dog was distracted by the traffic and was running back and forth along the roadside fence, and wouldn't listen. The woman grabbed the collar and yanked the dogs head around, yanking it upward and causing it to choke. She then dragged it to the white suv, the dog clearly resisting and choking on the force of the collar. Had i known I would see such an act of unkindness I would have had my camera and gotten a picture of the act. But one does not expect to see that. I wonder if there is a dog scout troop nearby, at least they teach positive training.
